Blue Light

When a mysterious ray of blue light reaches the earth, it mutates all in its path. Those who can receive its azure radiance are suddenly transformed into god-like beings—the Blues. A young biracial man named Chance is captivated by their message of humanity's cosmic destiny and documents their movement through the streets of 1960s San Francisco. Hypnotic prophets, messenger coyotes, and blood rituals are among the imaginative elements that Mosley weaves into this mystical work. The sci-fi thriller is especially compelling with Richard Ferrone's gravelly baritone lending just the right shades of dark realism.
